AMOS Professional Tutorial
"Open Gate" Effect
Audience : beginners
Here are 3 very basic examples suited for people that want to start to code with AMOS Professional.
All but the first example need the AMCAF extension installed because of some commands needed to simplify colors handling.
The examples are all about creating a vertical "Open Gate" effect using hardware offsets without any blitting, CPU load is very low.
The sources are fully commented to allow you to understand what's happening.
About the included graphics (all characters and images used are not mine and are used under the "fair use" statemenet):
- ME001_... : This is a screen shot of myMass Effect character
- FF-EHB.iff : A screen shot of a FF XII featuring the lovely Fran
- SHUTTER_TOP.iff : The shutter used in last example
Sources are provided in .AMOS format and .asc format, compiled versions are followed by .exe extension just make it clear what they are (compiled with AMOS Professional Compiler).
