A downloadable game

"The Gate" is an adventure game developed specifically for classic Amiga, since it is in development phase I will specify the requirements at a later stage but I think that at least an Amiga 1200 will be required due to the its CPU power.

You are a detective called to investigate about a missing person but I don't want to spoiler too many things in this early stages, I'm still writing the main engine.

The game has the following features:

  • Action Adventure game
  • Heavily inspired by "Impossible MIssion" and "Project Firestart"
  • Your hero has a gun as main weapon and several secondary equippable tools
  • Big, very big map
  • Challenging puzzles
  • Hackable terminals
  • Dynamic dialogs
  • Great story

DIALOG SYSTEM

The game features a nice dialog system with scriptable dialogs

TERMINALS

The gate is filled with terminals that can be hacked or used to interact with devices, each terminal is driven by a script, here is a video of a terminal with a sample script:

Terminals features old-monitor glitches that provide a good vintage vibe :)
